I love my job! Nothing like shopping in the morning when everything is beautifully merchandised and you don't have to deal with hordes of people messing up the rails. The best part is, it's ain't my money I'm spending :)

MET GALA:FASHION :: WORST ::

Eek! As someone that was recently pregers and who knows how hard it is to get dresses and feel sexy all while gorgeous, skinny, leggy women troll around you. This was a hard call for me to make.

I feel terrible saying it but Kim doesn't look good at all, unfortunately. She really doesn't were pregnancy well hey. It's too sexy! I don't associate sexy with pregnancy.
I don't get the print. Like why, why would you do a big flower print maxi when you are this big??! I just don't get it. She looks HUGE!
I don't love the slit! Her leg doesn't look sexy at all. I don't love the turtle neck.
Shees I just think there is so much wrong with this?

I feel her pain though, it's not fun dressing a pregnant body.
I just want to give her a hug.
It just doesn't work. It actually makes me cringe!

...and how is this Punk? I just do not get this look...




Madonna: Ok like what does one say about this... I mean, really?
She's starting to be that old crazy lady that no one want to talk about because she was cool in the day and we all have much love for her. Gees...

I battled to form an opinion of this look when I first saw it. I wasn't sure if I loved it at first. I honestly can't decide.

I have to say though, the more I look at it, the more I do love it. I don't know, it's kinda crazy in a I might love it way.

PEEK AT TODAY: MARKET ON MAIN

I always feel so inspired when I come to Johannesburg city. It oozes heritage, culture and creativity. You can't help but feel the South African pride.

We spent our Sunday at MARKET ON MAIN. This place had creativity bottled. Everyone was just on that 'buzz'. The energy was just phenomenal. And we loved it!
It's relaxed vibe makes it the perfect Sunday afternoon rendez-vous with someone you love.

Kendall enjoys a cold Stef Weiss while appreciating some local sculpture.



I, on the other hand, opted for a delic handmade cocktail. Was divine!

This was the busy mojito stand. They were crazily churning out dozens of mojitos in no time at all. One guys pounded while the other spun a stick into your drink to mix it up. Crazy busy!
The smell of the fresh ingredients was just seducing.

Some day today was. Shees, I'm exhausted!

This was the look...
My sweater is from WOOLWORTHS

These amazing glasses were a gift. Love getting gifts especially when they are amazing. And boy are these gold edge dixie glasses amazing!
Nothing worse than pretending to love an awful gift.


These red skinnies are old friends, another one from Woolies
I had on a black heel from Woolies too.
I guess it was a quality day spent in Woolies duds

PEEK AT TODAY 18/04/13

Work and being a mom has me going a mile a minute these days! I'm finding it harder to fit in a regular PEEK AT TODAYpost.

Here is a very brief overview of the looks over the last couple of days...

Wolf tee from MR P was paired with a rust coloured cord skinny.



Late for work meant a rushed pic in the lift.
I went with stripes and a worn-out skinny jean.



I then met my bff Shan-Shan for dinner and some much needed vino. We talked up a storm about work, love and everything in-between.
I had on a pair of plain black leggings (so did Shan), ankle strap, sky high wedges from MR PRICE (and so did Shan). We almost had a "Bitch Stole My Look", moment! Different tops prevented that awkward moment.
Anyway, this amazing fluffy sweater and fun neckpiece were both from WOOLWORTHS.

Loved this look.








My green pumps from COTTON ON were perfect for the full day I had on my feet.
Printed leggings and a black chiffon top finished the look.
Comfy cute...



Today was all about big hair and lotsa legs.
I decided to go natural, so no makeup and naturally curly locks.
I did throw on a sexy white lace skirt and heels just to feel better about not having on any makeup.
Let's be honest, not everyone looks amazing without make up.
I was compensating for that ok.
